Testing solutions across borders

The living lab movement is growing rapidly in Europe. With already 150 locations in the European network of Living Labs. The leading living labs in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Finland joined forces and started the Apollon project to enhance cooperation.

In Apollon, which focusses on eHealth and energy efficiency, new solutions are tested across national borders. For example: a solution developed in a Dutch living lab is tested in a Spanish living lab as well. The goal is to enhance cross border collaboration between different living labs in Europe. Results of projects will be accessible for companies that want to develop solutions for the European market but are adapted to local differences.
