Submit your Sustainable idea!

Initiatives from the society concerning sustainable transition are of unprecedented value. The government can create positive conditions, but the great task of a truly sustainable society lies by the citizens themselves. Think of the Dutch ambition to reduce gas emissions by 2020 with 30%. The Ministry of VROM can not do that alone. It is a great challenge to work together and reinforce each other.

Therefore the organisation behind 'Sustainable Tuesday' asks everyone to submit sustainable initiatives. This can be done untill the first of Juli 2010. The best initiatives wil get an award and wil be presented to the cabinet. The cabinet gets on Sustainable Tuesday, september the 7th, a 'sustainable suitcase' filled with great ideas.

After Sustainable Tuesday the organisation wil talk with various ministries about the contents of the suitcase and wil discuss how the initiatives could serve as inspiration for policy.
